Kubek’s approach

Currently, I offer 1:1 and small groups clay sessions at Kubek for optimal skill development and to create close relationships with my students; this gives me the time and space to acknowledge and understand their individual abilities and needs. All ages and abilities are welcome!

I offer home-visit sessions as well as in-studio sessions in my beautiful studio in Myocum.

I love personal approach that is why all the sessions will be tailored to my student’s abilities, NDIS goals (if any) and interests.

I have learned that patience and persistence are two of the best tools you can offer any student, and I bring that energy to every session.

I believe in project focus more than a technique focus approach - my students will work on their choice of project because my world of ceramics has no limits or rules!

I provide all necessary equipment including: clay, tools, aprons, pottery wheel, glazes and decorative accessories.

I will kiln-fire all the creations and we will glaze them together with your favorite color.

I cannot wait to see the sense of accomplishment my students will feel knowing that they have completed a project that is unlike anything else in the world.

Prices & Payment

You can pay for pottery classes at Kubek privately or partly through self-managed or plan managed NDIS funding.

  • Wheel throwing

We will explore the magic of wheel. It’s an action, hands-on class where you will let your imagination and creativity take over. We will work with a brown clay. Your hands will get wet and covered in smooth clay. This is where you will make your breakfast bowl or a milk/tea cup. I will guide you through the process. We will do it together. You will never want the spin to stop.

    Trust me - it’s addictive.

  • Handbuilding

Handbuilding class is where you will create your favourite animal, character, frame, vase, mask, jewelry and anything you can imagine. We will work with white raku clay which is soft and dry. We will learn coiling, slap and modeling technique. Handbuilding is very relaxing, calming and gives you a full control over your project. Two hours will feel like two minutes - it’s called magic!

  • Family/Friends hang outs

Bring your loved ones and have fun creating - bonding over clay. Handbuilding class is perfect for that! Work on one project together or do your thing while snacking on your favorite food. I don’t think there is anything better than that in the world!

  • Support/Mentoring

I offer a Core Supports under NDIS guideline. Access Community, Social and Rec Activities. I am all about helping individuals to reach their goals and potential. I have got the experience, passion and all necessary documents/insurance.

    Let’s celebrate you!
